Hatsune Miku and the VOCALOID began from the simple concept of synthesizing the human vocals for singing. From the start this was never an easy task for the programmers behind the software, but from that beginning VOCALOID and Hatsune Miku has grown into a worldwide phenomenon. The digital design on Miku’s skirt and boots is based off synthesizer program colours, and the bars represent actual bars within the program, following Crypton’s ideas. After an internet meme involving Hatsune Miku, Miku was associated with a spring onion (often mistaken for a leek due to the similar appearance). CosplayErotica created the sexy vocaloid version with a busty Miku character.
